"They say the more the merrier, and with Dysautonomia, the more support you find, the better you handle each new challenge. There may not be a cure, but knowledge is power and that is a remedy all it's own."
- Cheyanne Broz
In March 2017, we hosted the POTS Pi Day 5k in Memory of Christina Tournant. Thank you to Tava Wilson for putting together such a successful event, and for bringing so many people together for Dysautonomia/POTS!
The Board game "CLUE" came to life on October 3, 2015 as Colonel Mustard, played by Board Member Kirk Blank, took the stage at duPont Publishing Headquarters and welcomed several hundred guests. The event's success was no mystery!
41st Annual Sun-Coast Pediatric Conference
Dr. Jamie Decker and Dr. Dennis Hart presented on POTS! We were able to provide resources to every physician in attendance (approx. 300) to further our mission of educating physicians about Dysautonomia. Between two doctors, they are seeing 20 patients a week and gathering a tremendous amount of knowledge in how to treat symptoms of Dysautonomia in pediatric cases.
Hillsborough County School Nurses
In early August 2017, we had the amazing opportunity to present on POTS to over 300 Hillsborough County School nurses!
November 1-4 2017 - This weekend-long conference will include a diverse population of doctors including: Autonomic Specialists, Family Practice Physicians, General Neurologists, and so many more. Many topics will be covered throughout this conference, and we are looking forward to learning more about Autonomic Failure, Pediatric Autonomic Disorder, Postural Tachycardia Syndrome, Genetics Autonomic Disorder, Parkinson Disease, and Multiple System Atrophy (American Autonomic Society, 2017)!
